LSTrades Copy

Copy EA help

When the EA needs you, a line on its panel ends in a code like [H3], and the line under it reads Help: lstradesacademy.com/copy/help#h3. Find your code below.

Words in braces, like {symbol}, are filled in on your own panel.

Connected and copying

A healthy panel shows this line, with your own markets and risk. Nothing to fix.

Connected, copying {lanes}, risk {risk}%

Connected, but both lanes are off in your inputs The EA is working but copying nothing. Press F7, open the Inputs tab and set CopyGold or CopyNas100 to true, then press OK.

H1: Not connected to the copy server

The panel says one of
Not connected: add the copy server to Allow WebRequest [H1]Not connected: cannot reach the copy server (error {err}) [H1]
What it means
The EA cannot talk to the copy server. Usually MT5 is blocking the address (error 4014), or the internet connection dropped.
How to fix it
  1. In MT5 open Tools, then Options, then the Expert Advisors tab.
  2. Tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
  3. Add https://ls-trades-tv-discord-relay.lstrades-tv-discord-relay.workers.dev exactly as written, then press OK.
  4. If the address was already there, check your internet connection and that no firewall or antivirus is blocking MT5.
  5. The EA retries on its own. The panel should read Connected within a minute.

H2: Licence key not recognised

The panel says
Licence key not recognised: check LicenceKey [H2]
What it means
The key in the EA does not match any LSTrades Copy licence.
How to fix it
  1. Open the member portal at lstradesacademy.com/portal and copy your key from the My copier card.
  2. In MT5, open the EA settings: double-click the EA name in the top right corner of the chart, or press F7 on that chart.
  3. On the Inputs tab, paste the key into LicenceKey with no spaces before or after it, then press OK.
  4. Just bought? The key can take a minute to appear on the portal. If it is still missing after 10 minutes, message support.

H3: Licence inactive

The panel says one of
Licence inactive: renew on Whop to copy again [H3]Membership ended: open copies managed for up to 48h, no new trades [H3]
What it means
Your LSTrades Copy membership has ended or a payment failed. For 48 hours after it ends, the EA keeps managing trades it already copied but opens no new ones. After that it stops.
How to fix it
  1. Open your Whop dashboard and check your LSTrades Copy membership.
  2. Renew it, or update your payment method if a payment failed.
  3. The panel reads Connected again within a minute of the renewal. Your key stays the same.
  4. If you meant to cancel, remove the EA from the chart. Any trades still open stay in your account and are yours to manage.

H4: Key linked to another MT5 account

The panel says
This key is linked to another MT5 account [H4]
What it means
Each key works on one MT5 account. Yours is linked to a different account number than the one this MT5 is logged in to.
How to fix it
  1. Check the account number in the MT5 Navigator. The My copier card on the member portal shows the account your key is linked to.
  2. If you logged in to the wrong account, log in to the linked one and the EA carries on.
  3. Moving to a new MT5 account? Message support with your Whop email and the new account number. We move the key, then you restart the EA on the new account.

H5: Running on another terminal

The panel says
This licence is running on another terminal [H5]
What it means
The same key is running in a second MT5, for example on your computer and on a VPS at the same time, or on a second chart in the same MT5. Only one copy of a key runs at a time; the other waits. This one is waiting, so it opens no new trades.
How to fix it
  1. Decide which one should copy: your computer or your VPS.
  2. On the other one, close MT5 or remove the EA from the chart.
  3. EA on two charts in this MT5? Remove it from the extra chart.
  4. Running a second licence on the same MT5 account? Remove it: one licence per account.
  5. Wait about half a minute. The panel here clears on its own.
  6. Moved to MetaTrader virtual hosting? Close MT5 on your own computer and leave the EA on its chart there. If you remove it, the next migration removes it from the hosting too.

H6: Netting account

The panel says
Netting account: the EA needs a hedging account [H6]
What it means
Your MT5 account uses netting, which merges trades on the same symbol into one position. The EA needs a hedging account so each trade is copied on its own.
How to fix it
  1. Open a hedging MT5 account with your broker. Most brokers let you pick hedging when you open an account.
  2. Log in to the new account in MT5.
  3. Message support with your Whop email and the new account number so we can move your key.
  4. Attach the EA again on the new account.

H7: Symbol not found

The panel says
{lane} off: symbol not found, set {input} [H7]
What it means
Your broker names gold or NAS100 differently, so the EA could not find it and turned that market off. The other market still copies.
How to fix it
  1. Open Market Watch (Ctrl+M), right-click it and choose Show All.
  2. Find your broker's name for gold, for example XAUUSD, XAUUSDm or GOLD, or for NAS100, for example NAS100, USTEC or US100.
  3. Open the EA settings (F7), go to the Inputs tab, and type that exact name into GoldSymbol or Nas100Symbol. Left blank, they mean auto-detect.
  4. Press OK. The panel shows that market as on.

H8: Trade skipped: too much risk at the minimum lot

The panel says
Skipped {symbol}: minimum lot risks {pct}%, over MaxRiskPerTradePct [H8]
What it means
Even your broker's smallest lot would have risked more of your balance on this trade's stop than MaxRiskPerTradePct allows, so the EA skipped it. This protects small accounts.
How to fix it
  1. Nothing is broken. The next trade with a tighter stop can still copy.
  2. To take more of these trades, add funds, or raise MaxRiskPerTradePct in the EA settings (F7, Inputs tab). It takes 1 to 25.

H9: Algo Trading is off

The panel says
Algo Trading is off: turn it on in the toolbar and in the EA [H9]
What it means
MT5, or the EA itself, is not allowed to trade, so nothing can be copied.
How to fix it
  1. Click Algo Trading in the MT5 toolbar so it switches on.
  2. Open the EA settings (F7), go to the Common tab, and tick Allow Algo Trading.
  3. Press OK. The panel reads Connected within a few seconds.

H10: Broker refused the trade, or the market is closed

The panel says one of
Broker refused {symbol} (retcode {retcode}) [H10]Market closed for {symbol} [H10]
What it means
Your broker did not accept the order. The panel shows the broker's return code (retcode).
How to fix it
  1. Market closed (retcode 10018): nothing to do. Trades copy again when the market opens.
  2. Not enough money (retcode 10019): add funds or lower RiskPercent.
  3. Trading disabled (retcode 10017): ask your broker whether your account can trade this symbol.
  4. Any other code: message support with a screenshot of the panel.

H11: Entry skipped: signal too old or price moved

The panel says
Skipped {symbol}: signal too old or price moved too far [H11]
What it means
The EA only copies an entry close to the source's time and price. This one arrived later than MaxEntryDelaySec allows, or price had moved more than MaxEntryDriftPct of the stop, so it was skipped rather than taken at a worse price.
How to fix it
  1. Nothing is broken. This protects your entries.
  2. If it happens often, check your internet connection and that your computer or VPS is not overloaded.
  3. Keep MT5 running all the time. An EA started late never opens a trade that is already running.

H12: New trades paused by LSTrades

The panel says
New trades paused by LSTrades. Open copies are still managed [H12]
What it means
LSTrades has paused new trades for everyone. Trades already copied are still managed: stop moves, the TP1 half and exits still happen.
How to fix it
  1. Nothing to do. Leave the EA running.
  2. New trades start again on their own when the pause ends.
